TAKS Practice field trip: commended edition, part IV

Then finally, we explored the grounds of the University of St. Thomas. Who knows, maybe you'll be there studying to be a teacher just like Ms. Garcia in a few years...?

The labyrinth was dizzying fun! But the best part was probably the angry water fountain inside of UST's cafeteria. Right Anita?

TAKS Practice field trip: commended edition, part III

Directly across the street from the Menil Collection we had a chance to run around (and swing around) the Menil Park, which coincidentally enough is where Ms. Garcia's husband asked for her hand in marriage.

Don't forget to count to sixty, guys!

TAKS Practice field trip: commended edition, part II

Later that same Saturday afternoon at the Menil Collection where we were asked repeatedly to not touch the art! But we still admired French artist, Rene Magritte's oil paintings.

We also got to scurry around the outdoor art in front of the museum!

Saturday afternoon at the Contemporary Arts Museum of Houston where we got to watch the artwork of British artist, James Wood.
